Dance

It’s Term 3 we’re doing dance. We started with ballroom dancing. Everyone hated it. We learnt some moves like the New Yorker and we learnt some mini dances. We did lots of things with our feet. After 4 weeks of TERRIBLE ballroom dancing we finally got to do hip hop. Everyone loved it.

We learnt some cool moves. We danced to up town funk. That was fun! We had to make up our own hip hop walk, and in a group we walked down the hall. After the hip hop that we have so far done we (Eva and Georgia) felt a lot more confident.

Mask Making

We are making cool, crazy and even scary masks. We started by rolling up some newspaper. We had to roll it up very thin and tight so it made it strong. Then we made a shape what we wanted our masks to look like. The next step was to strip some newspaper in skinny, long pieces and dip it into slimy, sticky glue then stick it on our mask. We put a couple of layers on. To make it strong we did the same with some strong white paper. We then got to paint it. We used bright colours to make it stand out. We painted lots of cool and interesting things on our masks. We put some feathers, pipe cleaners, wool for hair and other stuff to make it look even better. When all the masks were done they looked  AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
