Team photos Friday 3rd November
To all coaches, managers and players,
Team photos will be taken on Friday 3rd November. Below is a general timetable – it is hard to give exact times due to the nature of the day. Children must be in their classroom at the start of school for morning roll call. Teams will be sent for as the photographer is ready for them.
Times are approximate only
All children will need to bring full uniform including socks and shoes as appropriate.
No uniform for road patrol, swim team, cross country, librarians and choir (children can wear school uniform if they have one).
The Rippa/Tackle rugby teams will be supplied with a uniform on the day.
Note: Touch rugby players to organise their own uniforms.

Pool Key Sales
The school pool will open for the 2017/18 season on Friday 1st December and close on Thursday 29th March. Pool keys can be purchased from the school office at a cost of $140 per key which includes a refundable $20 key bond and will give access to the pool after school, at weekends and during the school summer holidays. Keys will be sold to current school families first and if any remain then to the local community. School families may purchase a key from Monday 13th November and the local community from Monday 27th November.
Leavers and new enrolments
Thank you to all the families that have let us know they are moving and their children will not be returning to Glamorgan next year. We wish you all the very best in your new homes and schools.
Please let us know if you are not returning next year or you have children as new enrolments in 2018. This allows us to plan the 2018 classes and keep numbers in them as evenly spaced as possible.
Yummy Stickers
Many thanks to all the families who collected and sent in Yummy stickers this year. We have been granted $903 to spend on sports equipment for the school. A great result thank you so much!

Celebrating Success and Achievement
Many congratulations to Isla Brown and Jordan Tran who represented our school in the Auckland Primary and Intermediate Schools Snowboard and Ski Freestyle Competition last week. Both competed in the two snowboarding events, Slopestyles (jumps and rails) and Giant Slalom (race gates going as fast as they could around stationary markers in a timed run).
Jordan place third receiving the bronze medal in the Slalom timed event years 1-6 Boys and did an outstanding job! He missed out on a medal in the Slopestyles but competed well coming fourth overall.
Isla placed 1st in both her events, winning gold in the girls Slopestyles and the timed Slalom years 1-6, an awesome effort given the size of the Auckland Region.
Both Isla and Jordan did the school and their parents very proud! Go Team Glamorgan!
