Drop off zone in the mornings
Please move down the drop off zone when you drop off your children in the mornings so cars can get off the road. Your child does not need to be right outside the classroom when you drop them off. Also a reminder this is a quick ‘drop and go’ zone in the mornings and afternoons and not a parking zone. If you need to go with your child or get out of the car please park elsewhere and walk into school with them.
Whole school Assembly
Team 2 will lead our whole school assembly at 2pm on Friday 24th November in the school hall. You are all welcome to come along.
Calendar Art
In term 3 the children produced artwork that was sent to Abacus and can be turned into calendars, cards, diaries, mousemats and notepads. If you missed the first order now is your final chance! A second order has opened and your child brought home a flyer in their bag last week with their unique code so you can view and purchase products if you wish to. Orders close on 26th November. Please do not send money to school – all payments are through Abacus as per the instructions on the flyer.
Athletics Day
Well done to everyone who participated in our athletics day yesterday! Congratulations to all place-getters and good luck to the students who will attend the Cluster Athletics Day. A special thank you to Mrs Nicol for her organisation and Mr Bott for preparing the field. Thank you too, to the staff and parents who assisted with various events and activities.
Pool Key Sales
The school pool will open for the 2017/18 season on Friday 1st December and close on Thursday 29th March. Pool keys can now be purchased by current school families from the school office at a cost of $140 per key which includes a refundable $20 key bond and will give access to the pool after school, at weekends and during the school summer holidays. Any unsold keys may be purchased by the local community from Monday 27th November.
School Donations 2018
We greatly appreciate all donations made to the school and the discounts for early payment will be available again. The school donation for the 2018 school year is as follows:

Payment can be made at the office by cheque, EFTPOS, Visa, internet banking or automatic payments can be arranged with your bank. Our bank account details are ASB 12-3080-0059486-00. Please ensure you complete the reference section with your child’s name and specify “school donation”. You are able to claim a tax refund on school donations paid by requesting and completing an IR526 form from the Inland Revenue.
