Please report all absentees to the school office using one of the following options.

• Telephone the school on 473 6453 and press 1 to leave a message on the absentee line (you are able to leave a message on this line 24 hours a day).
• Email the school at absentees@glamorgan.school.nz
• Text the school on 027 632 7067 (only text messages will be cleared please do NOT leave a voice message)
• Prior written advice may be given to the class teacher.

If no message is left and the teacher has not been notified of absence in writing then the school will ring the child’s contacts to ensure they did not set off for school and not arrive. This is a safety measure that takes a considerable amount of time. Please always let the school know why a child is absent every day they are absent.
