2019 Enrolment Applications

If you have a child turning 5 next year or know of anyone else  who has a child and wants them to come to Glamorgan School in 2019 please let the office know as soon as possible so we can plan classes for 2019. All in zone children are guaranteed a place.

Out of zone applications- advance information

Any out of zone applications for 2019 will to go into a ballot held in October, if we have any places to offer. All out of zone applications must be in to the school office by 17th October.

Please note: if you have a child enrolled out of zone already this does not give any other siblings in your family an automatic place at the school. Each out of zone child must go through the ballot process and therefore it is essential you apply as soon as possible.

For the past five years we have not been able to take many out of zone applicants, but we have managed to accommodate out of zone siblings of current pupils. Our current roll growth is such that we may need to consider whether even this will be possible in future years. Please consider your local school if you have out of zone siblings.

Planning for 2019

Planning is well underway for term 4 and we are now working into 2019 to ensure we have the staff we need to structure the school the best way for the children’s learning. As we finalise our school structure for 2019, if there is anything we need to know regarding your child’s placement please contact the principal, Janet Pinchen, in writing by the end of term 3 and not via your child’s current teacher.
