Term 3 ends at 3pm on Friday 27th September 2019
Kia ora koutou. Hello everyone.
Thank you to everyone who supported Daffodil Day last Friday; we raised a total of $775.00 from your gold coin donations for the Cancer Society which was amazing. Thank you also to Room 8 children who organised the event and ran it so smoothly along with their teacher Lynne Cutfield.
2020 Enrolment Applications
If you have a child turning 5 next year or know of anyone else who has a child and wants them to come to Glamorgan School in 2020 please let the office know as soon as possible. All in zone children are guaranteed a place.
Out of zone applications- advance information
Any out of zone applications for 2020 will to go into a ballot held in October, if we have any places to offer. All out of zone applications must be in to the school office by 15th October.
Please note: if you have a child enrolled out of zone already this does not give any other siblings in your family an automatic place at the school. Each out of zone enrolment must go through the ballot process and therefore it is essential you apply as soon as possible.
The Variety Show is coming! 18th and 19th September
A letter to parents and caregivers came home this week explaining what the arrangements are for your child’s class in regards to the show. If you are not sure please email your class teacher directly and they will clarify for you.
Tickets are now on sale. There will be two matinee performances at 1pm and two evening performances at 6:30pm on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th September. All the children are expected to take part and be available for all of the performances.
Auckland Transport invites all parents/caregivers to take part in Glamorgan School Baseline Survey. The survey is open now and will close on Wednesday 23 October. This information will assist Glamorgan School to develop new road safety and travel initiatives to better cater for students in the future. As a thank you for taking part, Auckland Transport is providing 2 sets of double movie passes to two lucky parent/caregivers. To be eligible to go into the prize winning draw, you will need to put your full name and contact details on the survey.
