It would be great if you could have one final rummage before the end of term for any unwanted mobile phones you may have at home.

It is estimated that each year up to three million phones become obsolete in NZ, of those only 2% are recycled.

Phones collected help our School gain valuable rewards and the environment benefits as well keeping our landfills free of mobile phones and their array of hazardous toxic substances.

Write Like An Author Camp

The camp will be held at Ponsonby Intermediate School during the school holidays, starting on Monday, January 20, 2020 and running until Wednesday, January 22, 2020. The presenter is Melinda Szymanik.
Write Like an Author is an internationally acclaimed writing course that teaches young writers the skills and techniques that professional authors use to create their stories.
During the camp, each participant will develop and write an original creative story under the guidance of a well-known, professionally published author.
The camp is ideal for young people who have a dream of becoming a published author or anyone who wants to improve their writing skills.
From our point of view, it is an opportunity to pass on the knowledge that we have accrued over many years in the industry, to the next generation of young authors and illustrators.
The camp is non-residential, and runs from 9am to 4pm each day.
The course fee is $180.00, which includes a discount for early registration.
The number of places on the camp is strictly limited.
