Term 1 2020

Monday 3rd February  to Wednesday 8th April

Kia ora koutou.  Hello everyone.

Whole School Assembly Friday 13th March at 2pm

Matariki (Team 1) will be leading our whole school assembly on Friday 13th March at 2:00pm in the school hall. You are all welcome to come along. Please note: if you park in the drop off zone for assembly then please move your car by 3:00pm the end of the school day. The drop off zone is then a no parking area.

Drop off zone and parking

We have received complaints from neighbours about parking across and in their driveways which means they cannot access or exit their property. This parking is illegal and is not supporting our neighbours who look out for our school.  Please do not park on others property.

After a great start it is disappointing to see many cars entering the drop off zone through the exit and even crossing the footpath into the bus stop to avoid waiting to exit the drop off zone as well as  queuing down Glamorgan drive before 3:05pm when the gate is opened.

Please do not arrive before 3:05. The children are then ready to be collected and we can avoid the large queues. Even better – park and walk! There is parking further down Glamorgan Drive and on Geoffrey Road which is within a 5 to 10 minute walk away.

If the drop off zone and surrounding parking does not improve the drop off zone will be closed from Monday 16th March.

School Pool now closed to the public

The school pool is now closed to the public. To read the letter from the Board of Trustees please click on the link below.

Swimming Pool Closure

Advance notice –  Parent/Child/Teacher discussions Thursday 26th March. School closes at 1pm.

As mentioned in Week 2 newsletter, Parent/Child/Teacher discussions will be held on Thursday 26th March from 1:10pm. Please note that school will close early at 1:00pm that day. There is no facility to look after children when the school is closed so please make alternative arrangements for that afternoon. If your child goes to Glamorgan Kids Club then they can go at 1:00 as it will open earlier that day.
