(School closed Friday 28th August)

Kia ora koutou.  Hello everyone.

Term 3 parent discussions

We enjoyed seeing so many of you for Parent Teacher Discussions on Tuesday this week, and look forward to seeing more again after school today. Bookings for today are now closed but will reopen on Friday morning for the last day next Thursday 6th August from 3.15pm until 5.30pm. If you haven’t made a time to talk with your child’s teacher we encourage you to take this opportunity to collect their interim report and discuss progress and wellbeing.

You can book your appointment online at using the code: 2z3hc

Scholastic Book Orders

The last day to place an order is Friday 31 July.

Parking in Glamorgan Drive
Thank you to those parents who took note of last week’s message that parking on the yellow lines restricts the view of the children on road patrol. Please continue to be vigilant about this as well as being considerate of the buses that need to use the bus stop as a bus stop!

Book Week 2020

Book Week is coming to Glamorgan School in Week 5, 17th – 21st August!
Two key things we would like you to know about are:

The Book Character Parade and Scholastic Book Fair.

Book Character Parade
Help your child to choose and organise a costume based on a book character. Come and join us for the parade – Friday 21st August at 9:20. Bring your family and friends to the parade!
Visit the library after the parade to browse the Book Fair and have some morning tea.

Book Fair
Visit the Scholastic Book Fair and buy a book to donate to the school library or buy something to take away (Glamorgan School will get a % of the sales!). The book fair will be in the school library.
Starts—Friday 14th August
Open each day 8:30am—9:30am and 2:30pm—3:30pm
Closes—Friday 21st August at 11:00.

Download the Book Week flyer Bookweek Glamorgan School – 2020 for more information.
