Kia ora koutou.  Hello everyone.

World-a-Thon

A huge thank you for your support of the World-a-thon which raised over $13,000!  The funds will support a variety of projects in our school including extra learning resources in the classrooms, furniture, ICT equipment and library books. Thank you so much.

Congratulations senior Kapa Haka group

Congratulations to the senior Kapa Haka group who were invited to perform at The Warehouse Group offices in Northcote last week as a part of their Matariki celebrations. This was a fantastic opportunity for the children and they really did themselves proud. Many thanks also to teachers Nicola Le Lievre and Holly Browne for training the group and taking them to perform.

Parent/Teacher/Child Discussions and mid year reports
On Monday 28th June your child’s mid year report came home. Please check your child’s bag. The mid year report is designed to inform you about where your child is in relation to the New Zealand Curriculum.
Feedback from last year’s simplified report was that parents and caregivers liked the more succinct information along with more time to meet the teacher. Therefore the format of the report is slightly different to previous years and the discussions will again be held over several afternoons and for 15 minutes per family.
The third and final discussions for term 2 are available on Tuesday 6th July between 3:15pm and 5:30pm.
