Kia ora koutou.  Hello everyone.

Parent/Teacher/Child Discussions Term 1
Feedback we received from having the discussions over several afternoons and for 15 minutes per family instead of 10 minutes was very positive last year. Following on from this, we will be offering these discussions again on
  • Tuesday 22nd March between 3:15pm and 6:00pm,
  • Thursday 24th March between 3:15pm and 5:30pm and
  • Monday 4th April between 3:15pm and 5:30pm.
This term we will be holding the meetings via zoom. You will still be able to book using the online school interviews website. When you book a time you will be sent a zoom link. This is the first time we have tried this system and it has gone fine in our practice meetings, but please bear with us if something goes wrong. We will reschedule if necessary.

Netball – registrations due tomorrow

All year 1,2,3 and 4 children and those who were interested in years 5 and 6  brought home a notice about playing netball this year. Please check your child’s bag if you have not seen it. If the notice is lost or you want your child to play and they have not brought a notice home, you can download the notice and registration form from the school website under Parent Information-Permission slips. Registration and fees are due by Friday 18th March for Years 5 and 6. Please register for years 1-4 but  do not pay yet. Kidzplay will not hold any games until we are at the orange traffic light setting. We will organise year 1-4 teams and let you know when you need to pay.

 Student Cybersafety Agreements

If you have not already done so could you please complete a Cybersafety Agreement for your child/children.

We feel it is important for you to revisit digital and online safety with your child on a regular basis, particularly as they grow older and use the internet and devices for different purposes, and these will now be completed annually (previously these were completed at enrolment/Year 1 and again in Year 4).

The last day for orders from Issue 2  will be Tuesday 22nd March.

School Donations 2022

We greatly appreciate all donations made to the school. The school donation for the 2022 school year is as follows:

Per year Per term
1 Child $195 $48.75
2 or more children $360 $90

Payment can be made any time now at the office by EFTPOS, Visa, internet banking or automatic payments can be arranged with your bank. Our bank account details are ASB 12-3080-0059486-00. Please ensure you complete the reference section with your child’s name and specify “school donation”. You are able to claim a tax refund on school donations paid by requesting and completing an IR526 form from the Inland Revenue.
