Kia ora koutou.  Hello everyone.

Basic Fact-A-Thon

The children completed their Basic Fact-A-Thon test yesterday and sponsor sheets should now be coming home again with the number of correct answers and teacher signature at the bottom.  The children now have until Thursday 23 June to gather their sponsorship funds. Please put the sponsor sheet and money in an envelope, clearly labelled and send to school .  Alternatively,  funds can be deposited into the school account (ASB 12 3080 0059486 00) with the reference AThon and your child’s name and the sheet sent into the office with ‘paid online’  written on it.

Thank you for supporting the Basic Fact-a-thon, raising money for the school and increasing your child/ren’s knowledge at the same time!

Drop off zone

Just to be clear – the drop off zone  works in the mornings before school as a no parking area, just drop and go, but after 3:15pm in the afternoon it has always been able to be used as a car park. Staff no longer do the duty between 3pm and 3:15pm as after many pleas to use the drop off zone correctly and our staff facing verbal abuse almost every day, we closed the drop off zone until 3:15pm. Parents should collect their children at 3pm from school, either by parking and walking into school to collect their children or the children walking to an arranged spot to meet their parent or caregiver. We have three entrance ways to the school from Glamorgan Drive, Carnmore Place and Danbury Drive and parents are welcome to wait on the school field if they wish to for their children as well.
