Kia ora koutou.  Hello everyone.

Basic Fact-A-Thon

Well done to all those children who have collected their sponsorship funds and sent them to school – thank you!  All money should be sent in by Thursday 23 June. Please put the sponsor sheet and money in an envelope, clearly labelled and send to school.  Alternatively,  funds can be deposited into the school account (ASB 12 3080 0059486 00) with the reference AThon and your child’s name and the sheet sent into the office with ‘paid online’  written on it. Thank you for supporting the Basic Fact-a-thon.

School Cross Country

Well done to everyone who took part in the cross country this year — some children had personal goals to reach and they were so proud when they achieved them. It was a great effort and so good to see parents and whanau back at school again too. Good luck to the team who will represent our school at the inter schools cross country run on 29th June. All the children were amazing, not only in their own races but giving support and encouragement to others too. Our winners are listed below.

Glamorgan’s Friends of the School (FOTS) committee are planning a new fundraising event for Term 3.  We are in the planning stages and would love some more parents who would like to pitch in and make this event a great success for our school.  If you would like to find out how you can help, come along to our meeting on Monday 20th June at 7pm in the staff room (above the office).

We need some social media superstars, people who are great with copy writing, and some all round helpers for tasks big and small.

We would love to see you on Monday!  Follow us for updates

School Board Elections

The triennial school Board elections are coming up soon. Please see the Board’s newsletter The Glamorgan Gazette coming home this week for more details.
