Term 3 ends at 3pm on Friday 30th September
Kia ora koutou. Hello everyone.
Daffodil Day tomorrow Friday 26th August
Tomorrow is Daffodil Day and the Cancer Society is one of the charities we choose to support as a school community, cancer being a disease that can strike anyone of any age at any time. The children can come to school dressed in yellow and make a gold coin donation if they wish.
Let’s make a sunshine splash of yellow to end what must be one of the wettest winters on record!
If your child is interested in playing touch rugby in term 4 please see details here and complete the registration form and either return it to the school office or by email to email@example.com
Registration must be received by Monday 29 August . No late entries will be accepted. Coaches and managers will be needed for each team formed.
Children need to play wearing a Glamorgan School sports shirt which can be purchased from the school office.
The entry fee of $45.00 will be required to be paid once teams have been confirmed. Please note there have been some changes this year.

Congratulations netball teams
Well done to all our teams as they come to the end of the season and a huge thank you to all our coaches and managers who give up their own time to make having so many teams at our school possible.
Congratulations to team 1 in year 6 who have placed 2nd in Grade 1 and team 1 in year 5 who have placed 1st in Grade 2, that is a huge achievement!
Kidzplay Netball for years 1-4 teams still have a few weeks left of their season and we wish them all the best too.
Do you have any spare PE uniform?
Our Kahui Ako/Community of Learning is organising school uniform dress up boxes for our local Early Childhood Education centres. We no longer have a daytime uniform at our school, but if you have any PE shirts that you no longer need and would like to donate, we would love to add them to our collection. Please bring them to the school office or to Mrs Barker in Room 4.
Save the dates
The school Art Festival will be happening on 20, 21 and 22 September in the school hall. Every child will have a piece of art on display and the hall becomes our art gallery! The hall will be open before school and after school up to 5:30pm on 20 and 21 September and to 6:30pm on 22 September.
Combine a visit to the Art Festival with Sharing the Learning afternoon on 22 September and see your child’s classroom between 3pm and 6pm and let them tell you all about their learning as well as visiting the amazing art works!
