Term 3 ends at 3pm on Friday 30th September

Kia ora koutou.  Hello everyone.

Mask usage in schools continues to be strongly recommended by the Ministries of Education and Health and compulsory on school buses for children aged 12 and over.
Earlier, when case numbers in our school community were high, we asked that all year 4, 5 and 6 children and staff wear masks unless we were advised that the person has a mask exemption. A re-assessment has shown that the number of cases in our community has now dropped. We are therefore reverting to the Ministry of Education guidelines that state mask wearing is strongly recommended, but we will no longer be requiring mask-wearing for staff and children in years 4, 5 and 6. Thank you for your support throughout the winter months.
Staff and children are absolutely able to continue wearing a mask if that is their preference. Those who are at a higher risk of a severe COVID illness are highly encouraged to continue wearing a mask. More information can be found here.
