Term 3 ends at 3pm on Friday 22nd September

Kia ora koutou.  Hello everyone.

Drop off zone – mornings

Once again we have people parking and walking into school with their child from the drop off zone in the mornings. This is not a parking area between 8:00am and 9:15am. Please park elsewhere and walk into school if your child is not able to walk to class from the drop off zone by themselves and NEVER let them get out of the car from the opposite side or the middle of the drop off zone into oncoming traffic!

Parent Survey

The Board is in the process of reviewing the school’s Strategic Plan. They are seeking input from students, staff and the community and a survey for parents to complete is part of the process. The aim is to gather feedback about what the school is doing well, where changes and improvements need to be made and the direction the community wants the school to set for the next two years.
It is important that every family’s views are included, so we strongly encourage you take part, even if you do not complete all the questions.

The Board has contracted Jan Hill and Rowan Johanson of The Education Group to conduct the survey. All responses will be ANONYMOUS and the data will remain CONFIDENTIAL to The Education Group. The results will be summarised by the consultant and it is these that will be reported to the Board.

You should have received a link to the survey from the school office this week. Please complete one survey per family by midday, Monday 21st August 2023. Note that although the link is sent through school all responses go directly to The Education Group.

2024 Enrolment Applications

If you have a child turning 5 next year or know of anyone else  who has a child and wants them to come to Glamorgan School in 2024 please let the office know as soon as possible. All in zone children are guaranteed a place.

Out of zone applications- advance information

Any out of zone applications for 2024 will to go into a ballot held on 18th October, if we have any places to offer. All out of zone applications must be in to the school office by Wednesday 11th October.

Please note: if you have a child enrolled out of zone already or a child who was enrolled in zone but you have now moved out of our zone, this does not give any other siblings in your family an automatic place at the school. Each out of zone enrolment must go through the ballot process and therefore it is essential you apply as soon as possible. If in doubt please ring the office.
