Kia ora koutou,
As the 2025 school year concludes, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the entire Glamorgan whānau. Thank you for your incredible support and for walking alongside us through every success and challenge this year.
We have seen so many outstanding achievements and moments of growth across all our students. While the year certainly brought moments of change and challenge, the unwavering community spirit and shared advocacy of our Glamorgan whānau are deeply appreciated and valued.
We must take a moment to bid farewell to our Year 6 students and all other students and families who may be moving on to new schools next year. For some families, this marks the end of an era at Glamorgan, and we recognise the significance of this transition. We will miss you greatly, but we wish you all the very best on your new journeys. Please know that you are always welcome back to visit!
I cannot close off the year without a special thank you to the tremendous staff at Glamorgan.
A huge thank you to our two Deputy Principals, Angie Wilson and Nicole King. Their tireless support, integrity, and kindness are invaluable to the school's daily operations.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Board of Trustees. Their work is essential, and although it often goes unnoticed, their contribution is critical to both governance and the school's strategic direction. It is usually a role that parents step into with no formal training, and we are incredibly lucky to have such a devoted and passionate Board supporting Glamorgan.
To our teachers, thank you for your passion, creativity, and dedication in the classrooms every single day—you inspire curiosity and drive the academic and social growth of our children. To our Teacher Aides (TAs), your dedication to supporting individual students and groups is crucial; you make sure every child has the opportunity to succeed. To our administrative support, thank you for keeping our office running smoothly and for being the warm, welcoming first face of the school. Finally, to our caretaker: thank you for ensuring our learning environment remains safe, clean, and well-maintained. We are so fortunate to have you all!
A final, huge thank you goes to our Friends of the School (FOTS) team, who have done so much this year. They are a cornerstone in our community, creating opportunities for connection and fun! They are not simply our fund-raisers, but our fun-raisers!

Whatever your family gets up to over the holiday season, I wish you all the very best. Have a very Merry Christmas from my home to yours!
